Road freight is the most flexible way to move cargo between Iran and its western and northern neighbours. Cargo is loaded at the shipper's factory or warehouse and travels to destination without being transshipped on the way. On the Europe and Türkiye routes a truck usually arrives sooner than a ship, and it is also economical for shipments smaller than a container.
The Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) comprises Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, with Turkmenistan as an associate member. SEAROAD carries export and import cargo on these routes and on the Europe and Türkiye routes, in both directions.
The Bazargan office on the Iran–Türkiye border and the Tabriz office follow up trucks at the point of entry and exit, and SEAROAD's representatives in Italy, Türkiye, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan and Georgia take delivery of cargo at origin.
As a carrier, SEAROAD Logistics issues the international road consignment note (CMR) itself. The transport contract and the transport document come from one company.
Sea freight from every port in the world to Iran and back, as full container loads (FCL) and less than container loads (LCL).
