Container sea freight

Sea freight from every port in the world to Iran and back, as full container loads (FCL) and less than container loads (LCL).

Two ways to ship by sea

Full container load (FCL)

A 20' or 40' container is dedicated entirely to your cargo and stays sealed from origin to destination.

Best for: cargo that fills a container

Less than container load (LCL)

Your cargo shares a container with other shipments, and the charge is based on the volume or weight of your own cargo.

Best for: cargo smaller than one container

From any port in the world to Iran's ports

Sea freight is the lowest-cost way to move cargo over long distances. Shahid Rajaee port near Bandar Abbas is Iran's largest container port, and most of the country's inbound and outbound containers pass through it. Imam Khomeini, Bushehr and Chabahar in the south and Anzali, Amirabad and Nowshahr in the north are the country's other main commercial ports.

SEAROAD arranges the shipment from any port of origin: booking the container and vessel, issuing the bill of lading, following the cargo on its way and, at the end, clearance at the destination port and road transport to your warehouse.

Depending on the goods, a 20', 40', 40' high-cube or refrigerated container is chosen. Cargo smaller than one container travels as LCL in a shared container.

Transport documents

As a freight forwarder, SEAROAD Logistics issues its own forwarder's bill of lading (FBL). Coordination with the shipping line is handled by the same team.
